Mothers Day

I had my very first mothers day. Last year I was pregnant for mothers day. It actually just felt like any other ordinary Sunday. I had a sick husband and an adorable baby to take care of. We went to church and then went and hung out with my family for the rest of the day just like we do every week. My mom and Dad were actually in Las Vegas with Kyle, Joseline, and Paige. But that didn't stop the rest of us kids that were at home from getting together and hanging out.

I love getting to celebrate Mothers. I love my Mom so much and I don't know what I would do with out her. She is one of my very best friends. I talk to her usually once a day and I go over to her house at least a couple times a week. She has always been there for me and I know she would do anything for me or any of her kids. She might swear like a sailor and be a bit crazy but those are just some of the reasons why I love her so much.
This quote reminds me of my Mom:

I am so grateful to now have the opportunity to be a Mother to my sweet little Cash. He is honestly one if the best things that has ever happened to me. I can not imagine going back to life with out him. I cant even express the joy that being a mother brings to my life. I am so lucky to be given the blessing of being a Mom. I am also very lucky that I have such a hard working husband that is so motivated and works so hard so that I can stay home with our little boy and be a mom. I love my family and being a Mom and I wouldn't trade either for anything in the world.

3 Years!

On May 8th we had our 3 year anniversary!! I am so lucky to have Bret as my husband and as Cash's Dad. He is perfect for us. He would do anything to make me happy and is an awesome dad as well. I love watching him interact with our baby boy. He is so hard working and motivated in everything he puts his mind to. He works so hard to make enough money for us so that I don't have to work. He is constantly making me smile and laugh. If you have ever met my Brety then you know that there is never a dull moment with him. He is the most optimistic person I know. A lot has happened in this last year of marriage for us, we bought a house, had a baby, and I am officially a nurse. It's been an amazing year and I am looking forward to the rest of eternity with my Brety!

For our anniversary my parents watched Cash and we went on a date. We went and saw The Avengers and went to dinner. It was a nice night with just the two of us. Bret spoiled me and stole my wedding ring and upgraded my diamond. He Totally surprised me and did way too much. We are also going to be going on a trip to Florida at the end of August as a late anniversary trip. We have loved the last three years together and look forward to every new day we are given together. :)

5 Months old!!

Craziness! My baby boy turned 5 months old on May 8! He is honestly the cutest baby you will ever see (I am not just saying that because I am bias and am his mama). He makes he smile and laugh every single day. He is growing and learning every day and we love to watch ever second of it. Here is a short list of some thing about our Cash boy:
  • He loves bath time and has ever since he was born.
  • He loves his rice bottle that we give him at night before bed.
  • He wears size 3 diapers during the day and size 4 at night time.
  • He loves his Johnny jumper.
  • He loves his bumbo.
  • He hates the car.
  • He puts anything and everything he can get his hand on in his mouth. His newest favorite is his feet.
  • He still gets up at least twice a night except when we go to Arizona then he will sleep through the night.
  • He loves to go boating and watch everyone wakeboard. Except when the boat stops then he sometimes fusses. He just prefers it to keep going.
  • Hates his life jacket though.
  • He can roll from his tummy to his back and is completely capable of rolling the other way too but he is just too lazy to do it. He can roll from his back to his side and his side to his tummy but doesn't care to put it all together.
  • He will sit up on his own for about 5 seconds and then falls over.
  • He loves to stand on your hand while you hold him out in the air.
  • He poops every day with out fail. That is what wakes him up every morning. Not the fact that he is hungry but the fact that he needs to poop. Its kinda funny.
  • He usually doesn't wake of cry but wakes up talking and then smiles at you when you go to get him. Melts my heart every time!!!
  • Loves licorice or any candy.
  • Hates getting dressed! He would prefer to just be naked all day.
  • Cries every time I first turn on the blow dryer or the vacuum. Those loud noises are just too scary for him. :)
  • He sleeps on his tummy.
  • When on his tummy he sticks his bum up in the air and scoots him self around.
  • He loves to do airplane.
  • He loves to be swung and dropped on the love sac.
  • He has figured out how to go backwards in his walker but not forward yet.
  • He thinks he needs something to watch when being fed. Ex. TV, swing outside, or someone else other then who is feeding him. Its called spoiled.
  • He is my perfect baby boy!! :)
I could go on and on about my Cash boy! I love him to pieces! We cant imagine how our life would be with out him.
